The organization emphasizes spirit of the game, inclusivity, and community development, and serves as one of the largest and most established Ultimate communities in the U.S.
Winter League – A coed (mixed) turf league played on Saturdays across Seattle from January 3 – February 28. Teams play under 4:3 gender-matching rules, offering a casual, skill-building atmosphere with no standings or playoffs.
Annual mixed ultimate frisbee tournament held the first non-holiday Saturday in January, featuring 12 teams and kicking off the new year with food, beverages, and spirited play.
Winter Men’s League – A 9-week season played on Wednesday nights from January 7 – March 4 across Seattle. Open to men-matching players (18+), this league provides structured weekly games under official DiscNW rules.
An 8-week hat league for men-matching adult players played on Wednesday nights across Seattle from January 3 – February 28, 2024. Players register individually, and teams are formed by organizers for balanced play.
A Friday night hat league for Defenders of Women (DOWs) and Defenders of Choice (DOX), welcoming players 18+ of all skill levels. Games run from January 5 – March 1, 2024, under lights on turf fields across Seattle. Includes a beginner’s clinic and post-clinic social event. Captains receive a fee refund for their service, and players may buddy with one person.
A Saturday mixed-gender turf league across Seattle using 4:3 gender-matching Gen-Zone rules. Designed as a casual preseason opportunity, teams play without standings or playoffs, focusing on improving skills and enjoying the game.
A one-day mixed-gender team tournament held at Magnuson Park, Seattle, on January 6, 2024. It features 12 mixed teams, hot food, and beverages, marking the first Ultimate event of the new year.
A free, coed pickup series for adult players (Masters, Grand Masters, and Great Grand Masters divisions) running January 7 – February 25, 2024, across various Seattle fields. Separate games are held for women-matching and men-matching players each week. A $10 donation to DiscNW’s scholarship funds is encouraged.
Fall Goaltimate League – Competitive adult league (18+) in Seattle benefiting AGE UP. Features two divisions (men’s and women’s matchups) drafted by captains under the DiscNW Gender Inclusion Policy. Games run Mondays, Nov 3–Dec 8 (8–10 PM) at Brighton Turf, with one session on Dec 8 at Cleveland Playfield (7–9 PM). Proceeds support youth programs through All Girl Everything Ultimate Program.
Fall Goaltimate Tournament – One-day mixed 4v4 event for adults (18+) at Brighton Turf. Inclusive of trans and non-binary players under the DiscNW Gender Inclusion Policy. Held Nov 28, 10 AM–3 PM, with up to 8 teams competing.
